SESSION NOTES
26/4/2014
1) Session comment:
Melee damage is too low in general:
Install 3 main categories: improvised crush (1d8+1), improvised hack (d8+2), improvised pierce (d10+1), on top of those come more specialist weapons.
2) Session comment:
Survivor sheet handling when becoming fatigued is clumsy, needs improving
Add fatigue effects and roll effects to sheet or make a one page overview
3) Session comment:
Drugs seem to work fine, but effects may be a bit broader: including number of actions.
4) Session practice:
Use default skill values for all zombies (50%) and roll 3d6 to determine CON every time someone hits:
Advantage: no NPC tracking required, quick play.
Commented drawback: feeling of randomness.
But random roll can be explained as variation because of zombie corpse degeneration (left side of skill has rotted away, brain is exposed, melee conditions, and so on.
Possible improvement: when zombies are down they roll 2d6 instead of 3d6, making crawling zombies easier to kill.
5) Session effect:
Although cornered by zombies, Bram only suffered 3 attacks per round, as per base contact rules.
Possible improvement: 2nd row zombies cannot bite, but will attempt grab attacks, making the prospect of getting cornered somewhat more daunting.
